Broker Directory Australia's independent broker index

Privacy Policy

Plain English summary: the business listings on this site come from public records, not from you. If you submit a review or a real case, we use what you give us to publish it (with your permission) and to follow up if needed.

1. Who we are

AU Broker Directory is an independent broker index designed and operated by the AIEX Forward Deployed Engineering team, part of AI Executive Systems ("AIEX"). This policy covers data handling across this website and any forms, reviews or case submissions made through it.

2. What we collect

Two different kinds of information exist on this site:

3. How we use it

Submitted reviews and cases are checked before publishing and used only for that purpose - to display on the relevant broker's page - and, where you've given an email, to follow up if we need to verify what you've submitted. We don't use your email for marketing.

Business listing data is used to power search, display trust scores, and let visitors find and compare brokers. Trust Scores are calculated the same way for every listing from public rating and review-volume data - they are not influenced by payment.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information or contact lists. Submitted review/case content is shared only in the form you intend - published (with attribution as you provide it) on the relevant broker's page after review. We may share information with service providers who help us run this site (hosting, form processing, analytics), only as needed to operate it.

5. Listing accuracy and removal

If you're a broker and believe your listing is inaccurate, outdated, or you'd like it removed, email us - see Contact - and we'll correct or remove it.

6. Keeping information secure and for how long

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information submitted through this site. Submitted reviews/cases are retained as long as the listing they relate to is published, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.

7. Your choices and rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of anything you've submitted by emailing nick@aiex.team. Australian residents may also raise a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our obligations change. Updates will be published on this page.
